About the Position

Anglicare’s Children & Families have a long history of providing family and children support services, including family intervention, foster and kinship care, counselling, relationship support and much more. We are looking for a professional, experienced full time Administration Officer to support the team working across the North Coast Region, providing quality operational clerical support.

The Administration Officer - Children & Families is responsible for maintaining an efficient and customer focused Reception for internal and external clients, other visitors and service providers; managing a range of administrative tasks; and contributing to a positive team environment within the Service.

 

About You

We need a dynamic individual with strong administration skills capable of anticipating and managing the requirements of a busy service effectively.   Requirements include:

  • Database management and updating our client information system with accurate, error-free data entry
  • Reception duties including phone calls and greeting visitors in a polite, professional and friendly manner
  • General correspondence, administration and filing - both electronic and paper
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience balancing Petty Cash is essential and knowledge of invoicing
  • An understanding of, or background in child safety would be advantageous

You will be required to hold a current Blue Card (Working with Children), Licensed Care Service (LCS) and a Queensland Driver Licence. A Certificate in Business Administration or similar qualification would be advantageous.
